Anyone know why creating an invitation and adding just one external contact would screw up the whole message for everyone, like this:

When: Tuesday, June 26, 2007 4:00 PM-5:00 PM (GMT-06:00) Central Time (US & Canada).
Where: Dial-In: north wing conferance room


No ACCEPT, DECLINE, TENTATIVE options. We know it involves anytime you add an external users email or an email that also has an external email - PLEASE help!

Just an FYI - if anybody else comes across this issue. Seems our GFI Disclaimer was the problem. So we disabled it from all meeting invitations with the direction below. All is working now nicely.

Solution :

The following procedure explains how to disable GFI MailEssentials from adding disclaimers on responses to Microsoft Outlook appointment and meeting requests:

Open the following file using a text editor such as notepad:

Add the following line as the last key on the line before the closing </appSettings> tag.

<add key="DisableOLMeetingDisclaimer" value="1"/>
Restart the Microsoft Exchange Transport Service from the Services console (a reboot of the server is what I plan to do).
