OWA Logon Fails Behind HLB - 20.Oct.2011 8:40:26 AM

I have 2 CAS/HUB server and a Barracuda HLB using SSL offload in a one arm configuration and I can get to the logon screen for OWA but the logon fails. If I try each of the CAS servers directly, I can logon fine for both OWA and ECP.

Does anyone know what would cause this type of behavior?

When configuring Exchange to work with Barracuda, you must configure exchange to use static ports. The article below details how to configure your setup.

That is the document I followed to set it up. I just turned off FBA on OWA & ECP and now it works fine. This may even be best anyway as external I plan on using TMG.

Any thoughts on this?

Glad to know you were able to resolve the issue. I usually recommend to clients to deploy TMG in the perimeter network for external client access to their mailboxes.
