jmrdave -> Relay to different Ex servers based on Users' address (24.Oct.2011 1:52:46 PM)

Hello,

We have a unique situation where a company has 2 sites (one in Canada, one in USA) that share the same domain. We are planning to have 1 exchange server per site.

Heres the problem, its essential to have messages strictly for Canadian users end up on the Canadian Exchange server, and the US messages end up for the US Exchange server.

I was researching SMTP connector - but I don't think that'll help.

Any ideas?

Take a look at internal relay domain.
Then look at external relay domain.

Internal Relay Domain To specify that e-mail messages are either delivered to recipients in your organization or relayed to a server outside your Exchange organization but still under the authority of your company or IT department, select this option.

External Relay Domain To relay e-mail messages to an e-mail server outside the Exchange organization, select this option.
