Hi,

I am newly in MS Exchange administration. using MS Exchange 2007 and almost everyday getting error "Outlook is trying to retrieve data from the Microsoft Exchange server" almost everyday :(
until this time, to resolve the issue I need to restart mailbox server and waste the time between 15-20 minutes.

if I using outlook 2003 and log on to domain it's fine, no error on my outlook. And I try to using outlook 2007 without log on to domain it's fine too. But if I using outlook 2003 without log on to domain I will get this error again.
this error appear from 2 weeks ago.

Pict:

need your help, thanks before.

I dont quite understand your english so forgive me if I answer this wrong.

It sounds to me that youre trying to use outlook while outside of your office correct? Like outlook anywhere aka RPC over HTTP?

Outlook 2003 client does not utilize any autodiscover. You have to manually configure outlook 2003 to use RPC over HTTP. Once you've done that you can use outlook 2003 while logged on the domain AND while youre off the domain, as long as you have internet connectivity.
