gordonc66 -> Send mail out via 2 different smarthost, based on sender domain (11.Nov.2011 11:57:22 AM)

Hi,

We have 2 live domains and one test domain on our server. We send the 2 live domains out through one smarthost and we'd like to send the test domain out through another smarthost. Is this possible using an additional SMTP Virtual server or and additional SMTP Connector and if so could you point me in the right direction for what I need to set?

Thanks

Routing mail based on the sender domain is not possible.

You can route based on Recipient domain but not the other way around.

Thanks. That is what I suspected, but it was worth asking in case somebody knew a way.

gordonc66,

if you are running Exchange 2000/2003, it's possible to do what you want. See http://www.petri.co.il/forums/showthread.php?t=18644

Victor
