im trying to find the powershell command for exchange 2010 sp1 to be able to export mailboxes from individual dadabase (ie db01 or db02 etc...) file with the option to exclude all dumpster items,
the only thing i have found will do export for all mailboxes within exchange server

this is what i found but i want to be able to do it for database files instead of all mailboxes
foreach ($i in (Get-Mailbox)) { New-MailboxExportRequest -Mailbox $i -FilePath "\\AZUA\Exports\$($i.Alias).pst" }

thanks in advance

nevermind, i found my answer. however if someone can provide the command to exclude the dumpster file that would be great.

foreach ($usr in (Get-Mailbox -Database "Mailbox Database Name")) { New-MailboxExportRequest -Mailbox $usr -FilePath “\\servername\sharename\$($usr.Alias).pst” }

What version of Exchange is the EDB from?  What version are you on now?  Is it the same organization name?

I have good experience with this EDB to PST conversion utility that successfully exported around 34000 Exchange mailboxes to PST files: http://ow.ly/fOz73021ByC

This is really very useful when built-in command line tools fail to export the exchange mailboxes to .pst files or there are some corruption issues.

If you want to export EDB files into PST file format, you must use the 'ExMerge.exe' utility before buying any paid application. It's a free tool provided by Microsoft. Through ExMerge application, you can restore data from Exchange server and save them into new accessible Outlook PST files.

If you want to know more about tool, you can refer to this blog post:
