trink408 -> explain outlook anywhere/exchange proxy settings (6.Mar.2012 12:15:50 PM)

Would really appreciate having a better understanding of the Outlook
Anywhere, exchange proxy settings.

Do those settings only come into play when someone is outside the corporate network? Or once you turn it on, does it always attempt to use RPC over https?

Should this only be configured for mobile users?

We setup all our clients to connect using Outlook Anywhere, internal or external.

Also, what are the best practices for the network settings, not sure exactly how those check boxes impact connections. Should you just check both boxes to connect with http first? If you select one over the other, what is the procedure if it fails?

Thanks in advance for any insight on this.

Kevin
