WE have a MS SBS Server using exchange 2000. I had to rebuild it last month due to disk partion issues. After getting it back up I cannot get it to send outbound eternal email via our ATT account. IT sends/receivers email for internal accounts just fine. We have a business DSL with fixed IP and we use ATT as smart host. I am using smtp.att.yahoo.com port 587 (no SSL) with our ID and email password that is on the DSL account. But, all mail bounces with the 553 auth error. I read somewhere that I needed Yahoo's permission to do thia but I have no idea how/where to get this and when I call ATT their support folks know nothing about exchange servers.

Any ideas are very welcome!
