Hi,

We have a TMG in front of a pair of baracuda load balancers that pass ActiveSync requests to our 2 CAS servers. Every so often ActiveSync will just stop working for everyone. TMG shows that traffic was allowed via a rule but that the request was 403 - forbidden.

Last time this happen the issue rectified itself in a day. I've looked through the events, IIS logs, TMG logs, LB logs and there is nothing there...

So far I only restarted the IIS service on each server, but that made no difference.

Any ideas anyone?

Hi! This error seems to have something to do with IIS for the exchange server, check the virtual directories in IIS for exchange-oma permission and mailbox permission.
Additionally this thread may help you http://social.technet.microsoft.com/forums/en-US/exchangesvrmobility/thread/e2867374-9a87-4a25-ad40-da8b64cc211c/
