I setup auditing for one of my large shared mailboxes (29 GB, 180.00 items). I do: Set-Mailbox mailbox -AuditEnabled $true -AuditLogAgeLimit 365.00:00:00 Now some users started to complain, that mailbox is slow, Outlook trying to connect to cas server.. I found that in 45 day period since I set auditing DeletedItemCount raising dramaticly. Data: AssociatedItemCount : 1754 DeletedItemCount : 492265 ItemCount : 175692 TotalDeletedItemSize : 1.02 GB (1,095,285,506 bytes) TotalItemSize : 20.03 GB (21,509,251,302 bytes) Name FolderAndSubfolderSize ItemsInFolderAndSubfolders ---- ---------------------- -------------------------- Recoverable Items 1.018 GB (1,093,476,651 bytes) 491332 Audits 990.2 MB (1,038,343,144 bytes) 490588 Deletions 51.93 MB (54,453,239 bytes) 655 Purges 0 B (0 bytes) 0 Versions 0 B (0 bytes) 0 How are Audits affecting Outlook performace or user experience? Have anybody any suggestion? Thanx In advance!
