We have moved all mailboxes to Ex2010 but still need the Ex2003 cluster for a few weeks. I have enabled circular logging on each SG and brough IS svc instance offline/online. But in some log folders I still see old log files from January. I didn't check those folders without old logs before making the change. So not sure it happened to all the log folders. Should those old logs be deleted after circualr logging enabled and IS svc instance off/on? Or it takes time to be effect?

It should have been got deleted after you enable the Circular Logging.
How many log files you see at the log location?

I have seen logs back to 1/24/2013 till today 3/9/2013. I tried again to bring IS svc instance off/on but no luck.

Restart the server and check. It should work.
