After some playing around and a couple reboots it went away and installed.

I am trying to install Exchange 2010 on a Windows server 2012, when I am running the readiness check I am getting the following error

Configuring Prerequisites

Error:The following error was generated when $error.Clear; if($Role installWindows Components) { # Install any Windows Roles or Features required for the Management Tools role Install-WindowsComponent -ShortNameForRole AdminTools -ADToolsNeeded $RoleADToolsNeeded }was run: The system cannot find the file specified

It is probably asking for the Remote Server Administration Tools (RSAT) which can be installed via Server Manager, Features, Add Feature.
