Hello All,

I am needing to uninstall Exchange 2007 from our AD organization. When disabling a mailbox, it automatically removes Exchange attributes from the AD User object (including the e-mail address field). Is there a way I can disable all the mailboxes, but NOT remove the e-mail address from the "E-Mail" field within the user object in the process?

I need this particular attribute to stay intact as I have a seperate synch running elsewhere that relies on this attribute.

I would just really hate to have to repopulate all of these!

Thanks, as always!

That isn't possible as once you disable the mailbox it will remove all the exchange attributes from mailbox.
