Exchange 2010 SP1 RU3. Outlook 2010 SP1. All Exchange servers are CAS, HT and MBX. Using DAG with 3 servers in each. 2 on the same LAN and 1 across WAN. Using CAS ARRAY with Citrix NetScaler as load balancer. In general, Outlook has no problem to make connections. But here is my problem.

1. when reboot the load balancer or load balancer lost its network connection to users due to network maintenance each outlook will lost its connection to the mailbox even after all became available later on. Outlook was still not connected and asking for password.

2. when moved mailbox database between the servers in the DAG Outlook will lose connection and had to close/open again.

We used MSCS for Exchange 2003 with Outlook 2003. When failover between nodes Outlook 2003 will lost connection. But once failover completed outlook 2003 will reconnect automatically. User never had to close/open Outlook again. With current environment it's too hard to do maintenance without impact to users.

Is there a fix? Did we do anything wrong?

Thanks in advance
