We need to install an Exchange server in the following scenario.

CompanyA and CompanyB are operating separate Windows domains. They now are operating from a shared DBA, so will all use the same email domain.

Windows Domain: CompanyA.org
Windows Domain: CompanyB.local
Email Domain: CompanyC.com

There is a Forest, Transitive trust between CompanyA.org and CompanyB.local. The new Exchange server will be installed on a member server in CompanyB.local domain.

Questions:
1. Will there be any problems with the email domain being completely different from the Windows domains?
2. Will email users whose Windows accounts reside in CompanyA.org domain be able to authenticate to the Exchange server with those credentials? If so, what settings need to be set where to ensure this happens?
3. Can mail-enabled security groups in CompanyA.org domain be utilized in this scenario?

Thank you in advance for any assistance.
