Outlook delegates 'respond on behalf' meetings - 11.Dec.2013 9:51:53 PM

Exchange 2010 environment
Outlook 2010 clients (not in cached mode)

System was migrated from Exchange 2003 before my time

A PA is a delegate of her manager's mailbox and calendar.
She recieves copies of his meetings and appointments.
She declines or accepts them on his behalf, this is usally reflected on the manager's copy of the meeting e.g. 'declined by so and so'

For an unknown reason, this seems to fail so even though she responds to the meetings, his copy still says 'this has been sent to your delegates, your delegates have not responded...'

I have found that re-applying her 'full access' permission to his mailbox in Exchange, sometimes fixes it temporarily.
But the problem returns.
Hoping to find out why his mailbox is not updated to see her responses to meetings that are sent to him.
Hope someone can help.

Have a look at the delegation options on the Manager's mailbox and ensure that all the necessary rights are there as well. In Outlook 2010 Select File, Account Settings, Delegate Access
