isdpcman -> migration gone awry (28.Jan.2014 11:38:43 AM)

We are in the process of migrating from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2010 (and eventually 2013). We have installed 2010 on a 2008 R2 server which finished OK. We are following a page found on a website regarding step-by-step migration from 2003 to 2010. We performed the following commands on the 2010 server:
Get-RoutingGroupConnector | Remove-RoutingGroupConnector

New-RoutingGroupConnector -Name “Exch2003-Exch2010″ -SourceTransportServers “EX-2010.petenetlive.com” -TargetTransportServers “EX-2003.petenetlive.com” -Cost 100 -Bidirectional $true

Net Stop "Microsoft Exchange Transport"

Net Start "Microsoft Exchange Transport"
After running these commands (which ran fine) and changing the port forwarding on our firewall/router we no longer get email. Senders get a "email rejected" notice now.

What steps can we take to diagnose and fix this??? We're down right now and would GREATLY appreciate any help getting this working again.
(btw...the site we're using is: http://www.petenetlive.com/KB/Article/0000234.htm)

Well, you should follow the steps given in the trusted site of Microsoft. You can refer to the below mentioned links for upgrading your exchange server.

However, the native procedure is confusing and hard to follow. So, in my opinion, you should try any utility tool to avoid the risks associated and upgrade your exchange server in hassle-free manner.
One such reliable tool is available at-

You have to edit those commands not enter them exactly.

-SourceTransportServers gEX-2010.petenetlive.comh

Should be -SourceTransportServers gYour_New_Exchange_Serverh

-TargetTransportServers gEX-2003.petenetlive.comh

Should be -TargetTransportServers gYour_Exchange_2003_Serverh

change those over and you should be fine
