Hi guys I am going mad here

we have 2 domain connected via a trust each domain has its own email system. compnay1.com and compnay2.com

We can send to name@company1 fine no issues but when they reply to us for example name@company2.com the exchange server is resolving name@company1.com then fires up the message

#550 5.1.1 RESOLVER.ADR.ExRecipNotFound; not found ##

OWA is also having the same results

Cheers Guys

There are several possibilities for your Exchange (or Outlook)using wrong x500 addresses.

Do you have mail contacts for the company1.com users in the company2.com Exchange organization?

Did you migrate mailboxes between the two Exchange organizations?

The issue could be related to old entries in the recent recipients in the mailbox. Owa and Outlook will use them...
