We've upgraded to Exchange 2013 about a year ago and we continue to get these notices. I usually just log into the Exchange server and figure out which user and which mailbox manually, but I would like to have these Events include the user's real name and the name of the mailbox store. Is there a way to do this?

quote:

The mailbox c40c7c16-16c9-4999-92df-641f41b5951a on database c5439a9a-ea35-47b8-31e7-122db4ead675 is over its storage limit. The user will be unable to send any mail until the mailbox is brought under quota. A notification has been sent to the user. This warning will not be sent again for at least twenty four hours.

Not 100% sure if it will work in Exchange 2013 but in the past I have used this via PS

get-mailboxstatistics -Identity <GUID> | fl

I have yet to find a way to switch that in the event viewer. I will watch here and see if a guru has better info than I. :)
