Good afternoon, all!

I have been asked to design a new Exchange infrastructure to replace an aging Linux-based dovecot mail structure. I have managed Exchange 2003 and some 2010, so it's been awhile since I've dived into Exchange.

Two issues seem to be uppermost: first, this is a very small company. We want to have Exchange in-house, so I'll need to design from scratch. Any pointers on good design docs for a small company?
Second, I'm pretty sure I'll have to have a cut-over from dovecot to Exchange - no parallel mail servers. Has anyone done this kind of migration who would be willing to share some pitfalls and warnings to help make this a smooth transition?

Thanks to all for looking!

Gregg
