This will probably sound like a ridiculous question, but here it is. How should you shutdown Exchange 2013 in preparation for restarting the server (say for patching)? In previous versions you would stop Exchange System Attendant. Since that service no longer exists, is there another procedure? (BTW, this is a very small install with no DAG or Exchange servers). Thanks!

If its a single server, I simply go ahead and restart the server without stopping any services.

If it is a DAG member, I manually move all databases to another server first and then reboot but I never stop any services manually.
