I'm planning on creating a Hybrid Config using the Wizard to test some mailboxes with Office 363 with Exchange 2010. Before I finish the setup of Hybrid Config, (as I've never done this before as I've only worked with standalone exchange servers.) I'm wondering if this at all would stop or cause any issues with our current mail flow settings. For example, if I were to get settings wrong or errors when completing the Hybrid Config Wizard.

My Hunch is this won't. I would select 'route all internet-bound messages through your on premises exchange servers'. I'm guessing my original send/receive connectors will remain?

Something noteworthy, Iíve completed the Remote Connectivity Analyser and all is ok, but I feel this is more unrelated as Iím more worried about getting settings wrong in the hybrid config wizard. I guess I'm just looking for some reassurance before I run into any problems enabling Hybrid on EX10 and to know my existing environment will work even if hybrid has gone a little pair shaped, because then I can play and work out issues. Problem Iím having is Iím doing this for a 24/7 business so thereís no good downtime/playtime.

Regards,
Dan

If anyone is wondering, I went ahead and done it. Turns out exchange continues to work fine even though I had 1 error which I've now fixed.
