We have Exchange 2010 with our primary domain setup and several Accepted Domains. We have a couple laptops and couple of home based computers that are configured with Outlook 2010, with primary and Accepted Domain addresses. The problem is, when a machine leaves the office/LAN it cannot authenticate the Accepted Domains, just primary. If the machines are in the office on the LAN all e-mail accounts authenticate, but from the outside only primary domain works. I setup users to authenticate for each domain address, as well.

OWA we have running too, but is not the solution we're looking for.

Is this normal for Exchange?
