Hello all!

We are currently migrating from Exchange 2003 to 2010. Everything is going very smooth so far, all pretty much straight forward.

However ...

We have some public folders which for the most part is OK for migrating (assuming the approach is replicate over to 2010 then kill off the Exchange 2003 server they are currently on), but we have one public folder which has a main calendar in it called "Departmental Diary" and then under this we have two more calendar, lets say called "Team 1 Diary" and "Team 2 Diary", as follows:

[-] Public folders
.....[-] IT Department (public folder)
..........[-] IT Department Diary
...............[-] Team 1 Diary
...............[-] Team 2 Diary

All good so far.

However in Team 1's diary, there are appointments (all well and good) but the appointments also have two custom built EFD (Exchange Forms Desginer) designed forms with custom fields and data set in them.

So, my question is, when we migrate all the public folders to 2010, will they all just still continue to work (we use a mixture of Outlook 2003 / 2010 at the front end) for the users, or would the custom forms break / lose the data within?

Ideally we would love to export these two diaries (or rather "systems") into Sharepoint in the longer term, but for now we are just ensuring they are forward compatible with EFD / Exchange 2010 or if there are any "gotchas" we need to think about before migration and poweroff from Exchange 2003.

many thanks all,
