Guys,

First off, let me say, this is a great forum that I�ve got loads of tips and assistance from in the past, so cheers!

I have been tasked with an Exchange 2010 to 2013 migration and I was hoping to be pointed in the right direction of any blogs / best practice guides similar to my setup / environment.
The current Exchange 2010 server is a single instance hosting HT, CA & MB. The new server running 2013 will also be a single instance running CA/MB. I had a look at the pre-reqs regarding domain functional level and 2010 SP level and the like and I reckon I�m good to go�.
Here�s the deal, the current server is running in head office on the 192.168.1.0/24 network, the new server (yet to be provisioned) will be in a datacentre on 172.24.16.0/22 network. A 100Mb dedicated link will connect both sites�

I have migrated between 2007 and 2010, and 2010 > 2010 in the past and found it relatively straight forward. I have limited Exchange 2013 experience but I understand the architecture has changed somewhat, when introducing new servers in the past they would just start working as part of the HT group, the rest was fairly easy in getting the mailboxes over. However, I�m not really clear on the impact of introducing the new 2013 server and what I should be doing to avoid in issues when adding it so it plays nicely with the current 2010 system.

Any feedback on you past experience or links to guides for similar projects would be much appreciated, thanks
