preparing to migrate from 2007 to 2013. Old 2003 server is gone, but shows up when I run Exchange Info.ps1. Also shows up in EMC when filtering server or database results for mailbox search. Unable to find it anywhere in active directory. Where is this coming from and will it affect the migration? thanks

I was finally able to locate it now in AD, not in the normal path but CN=SERVERNAME,CN=Servers,CN=PROX,CN=Administrative Groups,CN=DOMAIN,CN=Microsoft Exchange,CN=Services,CN=Configuration. Not sure why it resides here. does it need to be removed?

used the Exchange management shell to locate and remove the connector: Get-RoutingGroupConnector and Remove-RoutingGroupConnector Exchange 2003-Exchange 2007 and Remove-RoutingGroupConnector Exchange 2007-Exchange 2003. This removed the connector and stopped the error message. All fixed!!
