Hi All,

I am trying to write an exception to a transport rule using the 'Except when a message header matches text patterns' rule.

Specifically, I am trying to exempt this rule if the 'received' header is from Gmail, so it would contain the string:

".google.com (" (note the space before the open bracket)

I put in the following regex:

.google.com(?:(?!\s+\()(?:.))*\s+\(

but it does not seem to (always) work. I found at least one example of an email that was subjected to the rule still.

I am no expert at regex, so I built the expression using an online site.

Any assistance on how to re-write that expression would be gratefully received!

Thanks,

Alan.
