Active Sync Not Working HTTP 401 Error

Recently users have stopped receiving emails on their mobiles when they are not connected to their office network (i.e using mobile data), and emails cannot be setup on new phones.

Microsoft Connectivity Analyzer gives the following:

The Exchange ActiveSync test failed.

Elapsed Time: 4801 ms.

Test Steps

Attempting to resolve the host name *.*.co.uk in DNS.
The host name resolved successfully.

Additional Details
Testing TCP port 443 on host *.*.co.uk to ensure it's listening and open.
The port was opened successfully.

Testing the SSL certificate to make sure it's valid.
The certificate passed all validation requirements.

Test Steps
Checking the IIS configuration for client certificate authentication.
Client certificate authentication wasn't detected.

Testing HTTP Authentication Methods for URL https://*.*.co.uk/Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync/.
The HTTP authentication methods are correct.

An ActiveSync session is being attempted with the server.
Errors were encountered while testing the Exchange ActiveSync session.

An HTTP 401 Unauthorized response was received from the server. This may be the result of invalid credentials or a configuration problem on the Exchange Server.

The credentials used to test login with no problem to OWA.

ActiveSync has been working without problems until now. Any ideas?
