Hi,

I have a mail enabled Public folder and create a rule to forward all email send to this folder to an external address, but this doesn't work.
It does try to send it away according to the message tracker but it stays inside.

Is there a default configuration setting which makes it unable to make a rule which forwards mail externally ?

Automatic forwarding is set to disable by default. Go to ESM, Global setting, Internet Msg Formats, right click on default icon in right hand pane, properties, advanced tab, select "Allow automatic forward"
