We have a couple people out in the field, using POP3/SMTP access, and they get this message quite a bit. it seems to limit around 32 recipients.
Says sent from "Sytem Administrator"
"Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.
Subject:
Sent: 6/6/2005 5:53 PM
"The following recipient(s) could not be reached:
'' on 6/6/2005 5:53 PM
452 4.5.3 Too many recipients
'' on 6/6/2005 5:53 PM
452 4.5.3 Too many recipients

I cannot figure this out. I seemed to start happening 2 weeks ago. I've checked all limits in Exchange manager, SMTP Virtual Server. and cannot find where this limit is set.
The odd thing is, it works fine through Exchange, Webmail, and VPN. Thanks for any suggestions.

There's an option to limit the number of recipients on the SMTP Virtual Server, has this been set?

Protocols\SMTP\Default SMTP Virtual Server Properties, Messages tab.

Yes, the default limit for "Limit number of recipients per message to"
was 50. We've tried altering this value. It's at 600 right now. Still same issues. Is there anywhere else ? We're also using GFI's programs, ME and MSec. Is there a way to rebuild the SMTP Virtual Server ? or set it at default ?
