I am running Exchange Server 2003 on Server 2000. My server is set up as a domain controller for the dommain eccgroup.co.uk. When sending a mail from a ISP account to my domain account, all is ok. But when sending a mail from my domain account to my ISP account, the message gets stuck in the queue forever.

All mails that are sent externally from my domain account end up in the queue, although I can send from one domain account to another sucessfully.

There is no additional queue information available and no errors are logged in the DNS event log.

I have set up DNS forwarders to both my ISPs and Domain Providers DNS servers.

My exchange server is behind a router and NAT entries are set up for ports 25 (SMTP) and 53 (DNS).

Any help would be much apprecieated.

Additional queue information is now available:
'An internal DNS error caused a failure to find the remote server.'

No, but the problem has now been resolved. The issue was that my TCPIP settings pointed to my router as the DNS server and not the actual DNS server.

Thanks for your reply anyway.
