NDR problems

hi
I'm not receving NDR from outside my exchange organization
We have a smtp relay in DMZ that query the dns to send messages

I have tryed to send a message with an incorrect address the result it's
that the messages it's queued into the smtp relay...but it dos'nt send back the Ndr

i'M CONFUSED.....

I think youŠve misunderstood this. NDR are sent from the receiving Exchange server if it canŠt find the user the mail is addressed to. If you try to send an e-mail with a domain address that doesnŠt exist there is no Exchange server to receive it and it will stay in your outgoing SMTP queue.

If you have masquerade domain setup than disable it. This could be causing your NDR issues.

I have cone across a setup that until I configured "Send a copy of NDR's to:" on the Virtual SMTP server, some NDR's were not generated and sent to the user.

thanks to all for your replay..
I explain better my problem.
i have ech2003 that relay message to my trend smtp in DMZ.
When this smtp cannot send e message to somebody
it put the message in the bad queue and it try to send back a ndr message, with no success.
If i look the log i see this error message:
ERROR: SMTP Server looping occur
