Unable to Display Public Folders - 20.Jan.2004 12:28:00 PM
Guest
After rebooting my Exchnage server last night, none of my users can expand the public folder tree. Outlook reports 'Unable to display the folder. The attempt to log on to the MS Exchange server has failed.

Running Ex2000 SP3, W2000 SP4

Public store is mounted. Plenty of disk space. All services running. Nothing in the event log.

Can anyone suggest where to look next?
Thanks!

Hi, try this

In the Private Information Store properties of the server that is receiving the error message, click the General tab, and then click to select the Public folder server check box. This check box is most likely clear.
Click another server in the list, and then apply this change.
After you make the change, quit and then restart the Administrator program.
