Hello, I have a Public Folder which is working fine as a discussion group folder in E2K3. I would like to add 2 external people to the discussion. I read that I can right-click the PF in Outlook, and add a forwarding rule to that PF. When I do, no email ever gets forwarded. Does anyone have tips on how to properly set up a rule that will email PF contents to outside recipients?

Unless there are details I am not aware of, the following solution should give you the behavior you are looking for: Create a distribution list and populate it withyour external Contacts. Within the ESm, drill down to the mail-enabled public folder. click Properties and go to the Exchange General Tab. click the delivery options button. Add the Newly created distribution list to the "forward To:' field. Be sure to check the check box underneath to ensure your internal recipients can still get the content. I hope this was helpful! I really appreciate the feedback...what I am still having trouble with is twofold: 1) when internal users post to the PF, the forwarding doesn't work. The external users never get the new posts. 2) when external users post to the PF, the forwarding does work, but hitting reply to the forwarded messages doesn't send it back to the PF like I need it to. Ideas?
