After reading a lot about Rootkits, I downloaded UnHackMe 2.5 from www.unhackme.com and ran it on both the front-end and back-end exch2k servers and removed the hidden trojan solving my OWA attachment problem.  (trendmicro, norton, spybot, and microsoft's new malicious software removal tool did not find the trojan)

Thanks Nathan!

Same story with me rocco_lca and the detector did not detect anything either. This really does suck. Was their by any chance a defrag happening on store right before you go the crash error?
-----------------

An exception with code 0xc00000fd was thrown in module C:\WINDOWS\system32\ntdll.dll; some parameters and their values were <Exception address - 1019b>. A significant section of the call stack is in the data section.

Information Store (2276) First Storage Group: Online defragmentation is resuming its pass on database 'T:\ExchangeSrv\priv1.edb'.
