Hi there,

I need some help understanding what is going on with my Exchange 2003 permissions. We have two mailboxes used to book vehicles. User's requiring use of a vehicle open up the calendar of the vehicle's mailbox and make an appointment to book the car. I want users to be able to create appointments but not delete other users appointments.

In the mailbox rights dialog, I set the Everyone group to "Read permissions" and "Change permissions" hoping that this would allow me to do this. However, no-one (including me, the supposed Domain Admin) can open the Calendar unless "full mailbox access" is set. If it is not set, Outlook returns the error: "The calendar folder could not be found"

Any ideas why?

Thanks

I think you might want to look at:

Following this setup will ensure that your users can book, but not change/delete.
