and we have one left called network on the 5.5 server that appears to be a system mailbox. I would like to know if it has to be moved to my 2k3?

Exchange tasks cannot be performed on the Network from the Exchg 2k3 admin so it doesnt look like a mailbox that one of my predecesors may have made.

any help would be greatly appreciated

Might be a System Mailbox created by a 3rd party product from the past or something?

Hey thanks for the feedback. I will take another look at what we have deployed. We use aarc serve and symantec and I am confident it isn't symantec and have not used arc serve very long; most sites i have worked for have all used BackupExec.

It is possible that this may be ArcServes Mailbox for doing brick level backups.

Thanks again.
