X.400 Message Type Restrictions

Has anybody used the 'hack' that limits the type of traffic delivered by a connector, by changing in Raw mode the Heuristics setting to 4096 (Prohibit system messages), 8192 (Prohibit non-system messages) etc.

If so, how reliable is it, as we have certain sites where it works correctly, whilst on a small number of sites it does not seem to work at all.
