Hi I changed the primary account on one of my user because of a name change. Now we can't get access to the mailbox. We logged in with the new user accuont. I'm wondering why? I have seen this before and after waiting overnight it would fix itself. But, I need to be able to get in right away. Anyone know why exchange does that? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I have seen this before - I have changed the mailbox to have a different account as the owner and after the change the new user was unable to access it. You can try to force a synch on the domain or re-boot mail server.

Not exactly sure why it happens.
