OWA sending problems - 17.Dec.2003 9:45:00 PM
We recently installed Exchange 5.5 on a W2K member server.
The setup went fine, and we are now able to send and receive emails from our desktops with no problems.
Upon accessing OWA from home or another location, we are able to log in and can receive all of our email messages.
However, when anyone trys to reply, forward or create and send an email, we get an System Administrator Undeliverable message in our inbox.
Upon inspecting this message it states:
Sent: Wed, 17 Dec 2003 14:05:52 -0500
did not reach the following recipient(s):
'firstname.lastname@example.org' on Wed, 17 Dec 2003 14:05:52 -0500
The recipient name is not recognized
The MTS-ID of the original message is: c=US;a= ;p=Minnotte
A check of the Exchange Server Event Viewer yields the following message:
Event Type: Warning
Event Source: MSExchangeMTA
Event Category: X.400 Service
Event ID: 290
Time: 11:40:21 AM
A non-delivery report (reason code unable-to-transfer and diagnostic code unrecognised-OR-name) is being generated for message C=US;A= ;P=Minnotte Corpora;L=EXCHANGE-031216164021Z-19. It was originally destined for C=US;A= ;P=Minnotte Corpora;O=MINNOTTE;DDA:SMTP=pepfontana(a)hotmail.com; (recipient number 1), and was to be redirected to . [MTA DISP:RESULT 19 136] (12)
We have researched these errors on the various websites avalible, but cannot seem to find an answer to this problem.
If anyone has a solution or can point us in the right direction, it would be appreciated.
