Hi!

Im writing a small application in .Net using DirectoryServices for listing users and their properties in address books (Exchange 5.5).

When Im iterating through the objects in an address book, e.g. in:

/o=myOrganisation/ou=_ABViews_/cn=myAddressBookVew/Sweden

... the path (dn) of every user object points to where the object is stored, i.e. in the Recipients folder in my case, which is good.

But on some OS, like Duth Win2k "[Smile]" , the path points to the address book:
/o=myOrganisation/ou=_ABViews_/cn=myAddressBookVew/Sweden/cn=aUser
which is an anvalid path since that object does not exist and I end up with an exception when I try to access a property.

There is no such object on the server.

The following code snippet just iterates through every object in a container (an address book in my case) and works fine on every OS Ive tried... but not on Dutch Win2K. Why?
code:

for each entry in myDirEntry.children
me.myListBox.items.Add(entry.path)
for each sProperty in entry.properties.propertyNames
me.myListBox.items.Add(entry.properties(sProperty).item(0)
next
next

Does anyone have a clue why the path/dn is wrong?
Any help is appreciated.

Thanks
//Mikael
