Okay hereÆs the problem me and my partner are trying to solve. We work together in Atlanta, GA with our corporate HQ in Dallas, TX and our proposed mass exchange cluster in Jacksonville, MI. We have our own exchange 2k server on site in Atlanta right now for about 300 users. Corporate is taking the server and moving all our accounts to a massive exchange cluster in Mississippi. We will have a T-1 to Mississippi for just e-mail and 3 T-1s to Dallas for Internet use and internal data transfers. My partner wants to setup a local.pst for local delivery so when ever Outlook is running it is downloading to that .pst file and have people close Outlook to stop downloading so they can use OWA for brand new messages. I don't like it because we would lose most of OWA's usability with all of the old messages being unreachable. Does anyone know how slow it might be to just use the T-1 with 300 users for e-mail?
