Hello ppl,
I was wondering if it is possible to have a mail server for not only local users but for users over internet (like hotmail) with exchange, or do i use some other program???

You can use Exchange server as a server similiar to Hotmail. The feature is called Outlook Web Access and is part of Exchange 2000/5.5. This allows you to have users connect over port 80 or HTTPS (SSL) to your machine and get a web based interface. You could also use POP/IMAP or even MAPI (Although not recommended) to accomplish the same thing.
