I am still getting thoasands of e-mails flowing through my server. The open database site says it wont test my site because it was not recently on the open relay database.

I have followed all the steps to close the open relay but still am getting hammered. I need some kind of resolution quickly.

Take an old pc and make it a gateway server. There are plenty out there, but I use Symantec Gateway. Not very expensive at all. Point all incoming mail to your gateway server. The gateway will only forward mail to your exchange if it matches the exact domain name. All gateways come with the relay turned off. If you're still showing a whole bunch of outgoing emails, then it's coming from inside your organization.
