Ok i was running a test Exchange server using our AD and everything on it. I had all the ailboxes setup and was testing it out on a seperate domain to ensure i had everything working correctly before going live with the new server. The hard drive crashed and was unrecoverable so i set it up again with all the same settings and such. the problem i have is that Active directory on my DC still thinks that all my users have mailboxes, which they have no folders for. When i right click to try and delete the mailbox it errors out saying it cant find the mailbox, or it just gives me the option to enable messanging (which doesnt work either).
My question is how the heck do I tell AD that hey the old server doesnt exist therefore there are no mailboxes to delete so on and so forth. please Help ASAP and thank you in advance
Derek
