Hello all,

People email to our Serivce Desk with things they need done, and our program HP Service Desk only accepts Text emails. Is there a way to convert all incomming mail through the exchange server to the HPSD address from HTML to Text??

Depends on what Email client you are using, if Outlook then it'll except Plain, Rich Text or HTML.

There is a option in Outlook 2003 (not sure about prev verions) to 'Accept all standard mail as Plain Text' under Tools, Options, Email Options.

If using POP3/IMAP clients then you can specify the MIME type (Plain or HTML) to accept on Global Settings or on IMAP/POP3 Virtual Server properties.

Is there an option on the Exchange server where you can select a single email address entry and say "all mail going to this address must be text" etc?? That could be what i'm looking for.
