I have an internal user that said an email was sent to another internal user from him but he did not send it. I noticed from the original message that next to his alias name there was (mailto:his name). The only time I ever see this (mailto:username) is from an external email adddress that is not on our server. Has our email security been breached?

Two days ago I noticed an icon of a man that looked like a spy (he has a trench coat, hat, and sunglasses on) at the bottom of my Microsoft Exchange Admin program. When I closed Netscape's automatic launch program in the system tray, it went away and I have not seen it since. Recently we were also infected with BugBear and W32Klez viruses, however we have since resolved that problem. Can you help?

klez is well known for spoofing the sender address, and so will be around for a long time since it is very difficult to track the source of the infection. if an infected computer has user1@yourdomain.com and user2@yourdomain.com's
addresses on it it is quite feasible for one to appear to receive infected messages from the other. bugbear will invent sender addresses..
eg. it finds addresses a@a.com, b@b.com and c@c.com and sends an infected e-mail to a@a.com that appears to come from b@c.com.
