Hi everybody,

Who can say which tcp ports (other protocols used?) should I open on firewall to enable IMAP4 to work correctly from outside of our network?

TIA
Vitaly

Hi!

IMAP uses tcp on port 143. IMAP over SSL (highly recommended instead) uses tcp on port 993. Also, make sure that your users can access the SMTP services on tcp/25 in order to send email (if they can't / shouldn't use any external smtp servers).
