Hi,
Recently my mail server has been flooded with unwanted mails in the queue directory (1000s of them).
All of the mails look alike but keep changing the subject, mail addresses and matter (nothing in common) for e.g.
---------------------
ClAI||S & lEVITRRA is almond pi||1--it acts quicklI|y and |asts much 1onger!
1. OveraI| erecti|e function
2. partners' satisfaction with sexua1l intercourse .
3. satisfaction with the hardness of erectiIe.
4. Doctor & F.D.A approved !

the next mail is almost same with
-----------
CI1lA||S & 1EEVI1lTRA is almond piI||--it acts quick1lIy and |asts much |onger!

no prescription necessary!
you can have realistic gains in just a few weeks.

---------------------

I have also installed Symantec Mail Security for microsoft exchange and have enabled content filtering. I am able to get rid of some of the mails of whose subject is in the filter list.But it is impossible to have all of such subjects/matter in the list.
Anybody have any solution to this?How can I get rid og such mails?

Get yourself some spam protection. www.sybari.com are the tops in that regard.

An alternative is www.gfi.com - their bayesian spam filter is as awesome as it is inexpensive.

i.e. it is free.

Takes a few thousand emails to train it but I'm well over 99% accurate.

As well as anti-spam, you may have an open relay. Disable anonymous access on your SMTP Virtual Servers as soon as possible!

I also even disbaled the relay totally... in my virtual server properties,in relay settings... i had selectd only the list below and the list was blank , even in my SMTP connector, allow relay for these domain was not selected and i was still getting this type of queue...how to prevent this...the only solution i found out was to totally disable the relay ...to do that i even disabled the option "allow all computers which successfully authenticate to relay, redgardless the list above" then it stoped...but now the problem is my pop clients are also cannt use smtp to send...Any help please ...also if you guys can guide me that how to clear all queues at once,that will be nice...
Thanks in advance
Faisal S

No it will not solve the problem...infact it needs to be selected..but i have solved the problem...i have seen the application log and come to know that it was because of a hacked account password so i changed the password and the rest is fine...
