Hi, all!
I need to restrict users to send messages just to certain group members. That would be even better to restrict all group members to send messages just to some certain groups or users. Is it possible?
Thanks a lot
Mykhaylo

Assigning the permission can to a group is best but you can chew up resources on the box doing the sending. You will be best placed to put up an FE and make it the bridgehead and distribution server so that the mailbox servers aren't impacted by the SMTP connector doing lookups to see who can and can't send/receive.

Unfortunately I didn't understand, how to realize sending restrictions. Let me explain more detailed: I have groups of Marketing department, Board and Developing department. So, I want each member of Marketing department to be able to send e-mails to Marketing department and Board , members of Developing department be able to send e-mails to members of Developing department only and members of the Board be able to send e-mails anywhere. Let's assume we have only Exchange server viz there is no FE and BE servers.
Thanks

You can do it in the users settings in Active Directory Users and Computers.

for example

Jonh Axlend > Marketing depertment member

Tom Maledter > Developing depertment member

in Jonh user settings > Exchange General >Delivery Restriction> choose only from
and add Tom Maledter and all developing group members
You should set the same settings for Tom Maledter

Now Jonh can send only to Tom and other deve. users as well Tom too.

But you have to do the settings for all dec and mark members
.

Well, it doesn't solve the problem with some other recipients didn't mentioned by me. Such solution is just for very small organization but not for hundreds of people...
Thank you, but this is useless in my case
